Agreed documents
Delivering the golden thread: Guidance for dutyholders and accountable persons, published by the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) in August 2024, defines accompanying documents as: ‘the documents which have to be submitted with a building control application for higher-risk buildings.’
It defines agreed documents as: ‘accompanying documents related to either an approved building control application or an approved completion certificate application. When the Building Safety Regulator approves a building control application or a completion certificate application, the accompanying documents become known as the agreed documents (as they have been ‘agreed’ by the Building Safety Regulator).’
